 27th TARKA RUN Sun 15th JULY 2012

10am, Pollyfield Community Centre, Avon Road, East The Water, Bideford

A Road Safety Run for Motorcycles of all ages, around North Devon’s scenic roads and lanes, of approx. 80 miles. All entrants completing the course will receive a limited edition enamel badge. A recovery vehicle will be available. Awards for the oldest bike/rider, the furthest ridden to the event, and the highest attendance by a visiting Club. Entrants will also vote for the Best Single and Best Multi-cylinder machines. Camping available at the Pollyfield, £5 per head,

REGULATIONS

All vehicles and drivers must comply with current legal requirements.

There is no speed or time element attached to this run. Entrants should observe speed limits and mandatory

 signs. Entrants must sign on/off at the start/finish of the run.

Entry send cheque for £8 payable to NORTH DEVON BRITISH MOTORCYCLE OWNERS CLUB to Dave Colman, Bassett Lodge, Pollards Hill, Torrington, North Devon, EX38 8JA. by 15th June 2012. £10 Payable on the day.   No charge for machines on static display.

DECLARATION Tarka Run 2007

I have read, and agree to be bound by, the regulations for this event. I agree to save harmless and keep indemnified the NORTH DEVON BRITISH MOTORCYCLE OWNERS CLUB and the owners or lessees of any lands used for the event from and against all actions claims costs expenses and demands in respect of death or injury to anyone or loss of or damage to any property, howsoever caused, arising out of my participation, and will conform to all Stewards’ instructions. I DECLARE that whilst taking part in this event I have an operative policy covering me in respect of the Road Traffic Act (Third Party and Passenger Liabilities) and that my vehicle complies with M.O.T. test and Vehicle Excise Duty requirements. (The latter is not required for machines on static display).
